Chris Clarke with Plow & Zapf Dingbats - An evening of old-time, bluegrass, folk, New Orleans jazz, Texas swing, gospel, and blues. Original songs and tasteful arrangements of traditional American Heritage music.

Chris Clarke returns to Folk Heritage and this time is bringing two different bands for what promises to be an enjoyable evening of music. Spend the first part of the evening traveling through the Southern Appalachian mountains to the sounds of Plow, featuring Chris Clarke on guitar and mandolin, David Bandrowski on 5-string and tenor banjos, Doug Walker on upright bass and Joe Pomianek on guitar and mandolin.

The second part of the evening will feature Zapf Dingbats - David Bandrowski on guitar, Chris Clarke on mandolin & vocals, Doug Walker on upright bass and Dane Terry on harmonicas. Drawing on influences such as Jelly Roll Morton, Bob Wills, Louis Armstrong, and the black string bands from the South (Mississippi Sheiks, Charlie McCoy), the Zapf Dingbats promise to deliver an evening of swing, jazz, blues and original arangements. The Dingbats are coming up on their year anniversary of a weekly residency at the Turquoise Cafe Bar Europa in North PB, where they've honed both their arrangements and their affinity for Stone Pale Ale.
